The Elders
and Deacons of the church are
an extension
of the Pastor. The Elders and Deacons support the Pastor in
all ways. They support and carry out the vision of the Pastor
as well as serve the body of Christ. One who aspires to be Deacon
must be full of the Holy Ghost,
“Wherefore brethren, look ye out among you seven men
of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we
may appoint over this business…” Acts 6:3.
The mission of the Elders and Deacons is to serve the people
of God, allowing the Pastor the time needed to pray and minister
the Word to the people.
